Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Clerk to join our Stockton Family Medical Center in Stockton, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.
Stockton Family Medical Center provides health care for patients of all ages for a variety of illnesses, injuries, and ailments.
Our medical staff also provides:
Complete family care Well-baby exams Well-woman exams Obstetrical care Medicare/Medicaid wellness visits Immunizations Behavioral health Same-day appointments X-ray and laboratory services are available on-site. The clinic is accepting new patients. Stockton Family Medical Center provides walk-in hours for convenient and quick care. The clinic sees patients with a sudden illness or injury that needs to be treated right away. As a Clerk, you will be: Answering inquiries relating to services and fees, simple insurance inquiries and screening emergencies Providing detailed messages, processing of forms, scanning, updating appropriate consent forms, updating insurance coverage, updating demographics, maintaining organization, and completing open and closing procedures. Communicating with providers and nursing staff Exiting the patient in a courteous and pleasant manner and assisting them with any questions or problems they may have prior to leaving the clinic Assisting in scheduling, handling phone calls and routing to the appropriate individual, including making patient appointments per appropriate guidelines set forth by the Provider/Clinic manager.

High School diploma or equivalent
Experience:
1 year customer service

Organization, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking
