In this pivotal role, you will support the development and execution of personalized fitness programs, oversee client engagement, and assist in leading a team of personal trainers. Responsibilities Assist in designing and implementing customized workout plans tailored to individual client needs, utilizing knowledge of biomechanics, physiology, and body mechanics. Support the personal training team by providing coaching, mentorship, and ongoing training to enhance their skills in program design, motivation, and client communication. Contribute to sales efforts by promoting personal training services, explaining program benefits, and helping clients select suitable packages. Ensure all trainers adhere to safety protocols including first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED operation (Automated External Defibrillator), manual handling, and heavy lifting techniques. Build strong rapport with clients through effective communication, personalized coaching, and exceptional customer service to foster loyalty and retention. Assist with operational tasks such as maintaining liability insurance compliance, managing client records, and supporting fitness industry standards. Collaborate with management on program development initiatives that incorporate fitness industry best practices, nutrition advice, and innovative training methods. Experience Proven experience in sports coaching or physical education teaching with a strong background in biomechanics, anatomy, and physiology. Demonstrated success in personal training or fitness coaching within a health club or gym environment. Knowledge of program design principles for diverse populations including weight management, strength training, and functional movement. Experience in fitness sales and customer service with the ability to communicate effectively with clients of all backgrounds. Certifications such as CPR/AED (First aid included), manual handling, and liability insurance are required; additional qualifications like sports coaching experience or nutrition knowledge are highly valued. Familiarity with fitness industry standards for heavy lifting safety, body mechanics, and injury prevention is essential. Ability to motivate clients through coaching techniques that promote engagement and long-term adherence to fitness routines.
