We're looking for someone who already understands the insurance business and can confidently manage client relationships, provide thoughtful coverage guidance, and deliver an exceptional client experience. This role is a blend of service and sales-you'll manage an assigned book of business while also writing new business generated through referrals, agency marketing, and cross-selling opportunities. • Manage and build relationships with an assigned book of personal insurance clients.
• Handle policy changes, renewals, billing questions, coverage reviews, remarketing, and day-to-day client service.
• Write new personal lines business generated through referrals, agency marketing, and cross-selling opportunities.
• Identify coverage gaps and make thoughtful insurance recommendations.
• Communicate with carrier underwriters and service teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation within our agency management system.
• Use technology to create an efficient, seamless client experience.
• Collaborate with producers, account managers, and our sales support team. What We're Looking For
• Previous personal lines insurance agency experience is required.
• Active Ohio Property & Casualty license.
• Strong technology skills with the ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple software platforms.
• Experience using agency management systems, comparative rating software, carrier websites, Microsoft 365, and other insurance technology.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
