Maintain medical records, appointment tracking systems, lifetime medical histories, and other required healthcare documentation. Communicate regularly with nurses, program leadership, and support teams to assist with planning, reporting, and care coordination. Participate in nursing meetings, team meetings, and special projects while supporting the ongoing operations of the Health Services Department. Monitor appointment outcomes, maintain filing systems, assist with healthcare-related administrative tasks, and support communication between programs and nursing services. Helping Others Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent Two (2) to four (4) years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs, addiction disorders, homelessness services, community support services, residential programs, or similar populations Valid Driver's License Strong communication, organizational, and recordkeeping skills Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and support teams Ability to successfully complete all required training programs Ability to pass
Criminal Record History Clearance, FBI Clearance, Physical Examination, and Drug Screening Preferred:
Medical Administrative Assistant Diploma or similar healthcare-related credential Experience supporting healthcare, nursing, medical records, or care coordination functions Experience working within human services or healthcare environments Schedule Full-Time Schedule based on departmental and program needs Attendance at required meetings and trainings required Travel within the service area may be required Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform administrative office functions Ability to travel between program locations when required Ability to lift and carry office materials and records as needed Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation Apply Today Some jobs pay the bills.
