Job Description
Provide secretarial support to curriculum supervisors; use computers for word processing, order and track supplies and materials; maintain lists and files, compile data and prepare reports; maintain calendars and schedule meetings; greet office visitors and telephone callers; process incoming mail and use standard office equipment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process correspondence, reports, agenda, minutes, purchase orders, forms, budget materials, and administrative materials from rough drafts.
- Obtain, gather, and organize pertinent data as needed and put into a usable form.
- Create, maintain and analyze computer applications including, word processing spread sheets, graphs, and charts needed to review and analyze data information; prepare required data and reports.
- Use computer programs to create and maintain digital assessments from rough drafts.
- Other duties requested by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma and two years of progressive responsible office support work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Power Point) and Google Workspace products (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Knowledge of and skill in using general office computer applications accurately and rapidly.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to communicate well, orally and in writing.
- Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple responsibilities with numerous distractions and capable to react to change productively.
- Ability to organize work responsibilities and materials and to effectively and independently solve problems and maintain timelines.
Terms of Employment:
- 12 months, 7 1/2 hours per day (8:00 am to 4:00 pm with 30 minute unpaid lunch).
- $24.46 per hour after successful completion of a 90 day probationary period.
- As necessary, a separate email will be sent with a link and access code to comply with the Act 168 Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure release forms.
