Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week
Start Date:
Immediate Position Summary QPS is seeking an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented General Clerk to support our Indiana, Pennsylvania office. This position provides clerical and administrative assistance through data entry, document processing, recordkeeping, project tracking, and general office support. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with computers, communicates professionally, and can manage multiple responsibilities accurately and efficiently. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform data entry and maintain accurate electronic and paper records. Compile, organize, and verify information used in reports, forms, and other documents. Prepare routine reports and perform basic calculations as needed. Proofread records, forms, and reports for accuracy and completeness. Process, code, sort, scan, copy, and file documents. Maintain organized project records and files. Assist technical, production, and management personnel with project tracking, reports, and documentation. Monitor project information and maintain applicable reports and indexes. Answer telephone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate person. Receive, sort, stamp, and distribute incoming mail and documents. Identify and help resolve discrepancies in records, reports, and documentation. Communicate professionally with employees, customers, vendors, and other outside contacts. Perform general office tasks and errands as needed. Maintain confidentiality when handling company, employee, and customer information. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Two years of clerical, administrative, or office experience preferred. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong data-entry, organizational, and recordkeeping skills. Ability to proofread documents and maintain a high level of accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize assignments and manage multiple tasks. Dependable, professional, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience supporting oil and gas, industrial, construction, or field-service operations is preferred but not required.
