Full Time, Hourly, Non-exempt, Benefits Eligible Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8am-5pm with appropriate breaks
Pay Rate:
$17-$22/hour
Position Summary:
SFT Trek Properties is currently seeking an organized and dependable professional to serve as Administrative Assistant in the Kittanning area to help serve approximately 130 units of market rate and affordable housing located at 7 properties. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing support through hands on tasks and communication to support the effective operation of the housing properties. To do well in this role you will display pride in your work and enjoy adapting day-to-day the needs of the property team and residents. The Administrative Assistant will need to work as a team with the Property (Community) Manager, and other staff and vendors who serve the same properties.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide excellent resident relations and strong customer service in a fast-paced office environment.
Answer phones, greet visitors, and respond professionally to resident inquiries.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are required.
Maintain a professional and courteous manner.
Ensure that all residents feel welcome and that they are important.
Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing and filing, maintaining contact/vendor files, signing for and distributing packages.
Track resident notices and ensure notices are delivered in a timely manner.
Assist with the annual recertification process and help maintain accurate resident files and supporting documentation.
Support multiple properties with general administrative duties, scheduling, correspondence, and recordkeeping.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
Collaborate with Community Manager and Maintenance Technicians to build a strong internal team dynamic based on equal respect and understanding with a goal of increased efficiency and team morale.
Willingness and ability to travel to multiple properties within Kittanning area and occasionally to a regional corporate meeting is required.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent Excellent communication skills required Competent computer and technology skills, Microsoft Office required Customer service experience in property/hotel/human services preferred but not required
Previous experience with property management, affordable housing, or LIHTC experience is helpful.
RealPage, AppFolio, or other industry software experience is a plus but not required A willingness to work a flexible schedule that would include an occasional Saturday and an evening when necessary Valid driver licenses required. Child abuse clearances and background check required.

The employee is occasionally required to move around the buildings.
Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment.
Frequently moves equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
The person in this position needs to frequently navigate throughout the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Supervision:
This position reports to the Property (Community) Manager for the Kittanning area properties.
May receive additional supervision by the Chief Compliance & Operations Manager or property owner.
