Non Exempt Pay Grade:
Grade 6 Position Summary Dean, Planning, Institutional Effectiveness, and Research Effectiveness, and Research. Supports Student Success initiatives for the department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Keyboarding tasks, including general office correspondence, reports, newsletters, purchase requisitions, general data entry, and e-mail; answer phone calls, provide information and direct calls to an appropriate person. Receives all internal data requests submitted through the request system: routes incoming requests to appropriate department member and communicates updates to stakeholders. Maintain the departmental budget; arrange travel; maintain files; order office supplies; facilitate software license renewals, take notes/minutes in departmental, committee and other meetings; help maintain the department website; prepare and distribute meeting materials; extract data from databases and other sources. Plan events, including room reservations, food, RSVPs, AV equipment and meeting materials; assist with set-up and break-down. Perform tasks for distribution of electronic surveys as a system admin; check results for integrity; prepare reports and distribute results. Perform other duties of a similar nature or level as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Three years of general office experience desirable. Must be knowledgeable in the skill of effective interpersonal relations in order to communicate with students, faculty, staff, and the public; provide information in a concise and courteous manner. Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree desirable.
