Job Description

Description Ability to work under minimum supervision to perform administrative duties as assigned including but not limited to answering the phones, typing, creating and sorting files, copying, faxing, creating and working in Microsoft Word and Excel documents.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative Support:
Serves as the primary office resource to the faculty, staff and students of KCBC. Schedules meetings, manages calendars, and coordinates communications under the oversight of the Dean and Associate Dean. Provides administrative support to the Deans as needed. Drafts and formats internal correspondence, reports, and meeting documentation. Processes payments, refunds, and adjustments in coordination with the Accounting Department. Manages tuition billing, student account payments, and fee collection processes. Communicate with students regarding payment plans, account holds, and financial questions. Maintains academic records, course schedules, and faculty files. Maintains accurate and up-to-date financial records for all enrolled students. Prepares and submits monthly and quarterly financial reports to leadership. Assists in preparing academic planning materials and accreditation documentation.
Technical & Office Support:
Utilizes Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) for reporting, communication, and document preparation. Tracks data for enrollment, student progress, and budget planning. Updates and manages student information systems and learning platforms. Supports logistics and communication for academic, spiritual and student life events such as orientation, graduation, guest chapels and special services.
Requirements Education and Experience:
High School diploma required, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in office administration, Business, or a related field preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in administrative support, preferably in an academic or church-affiliated environment. Experience in bursar functions or accounting support is strongly preferred. Strong computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills. Familiarity with student information systems or accounting software is a plus. A positive, team-oriented attitude with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.

Works in a typical office setting.
