Summary/objective:
The Office Assistant will work closely with Recovery Point West Virginia Behavioral Health Counseling staff to ensure objectives are met, while also serving as the liaison between clients and providers.
Essential functions:
Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Provide support to all Recovery Point West Virginia Behavioral Health administrative staff as needed. Create Client Charts in EMR. Assist clients in completing Mental Health Screening forms. Assist clients in completing Williamson Health and Wellness referrals. Assist providers in facilitating telehealth counseling appointments. Assist in scheduling Behavioral Health Appointments. Serve as coordinator between clients and providers. Other duties as assigned.
Education/Qualifications:
Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Knowledge of peer-to-peer recovery evidence-based practices and/or the Recovery Point West Virginia social model. Support multiple pathways of recovery. Possess strong human relations skills. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrate ability to quickly adapt and respond appropriately to various situations.
Work Environment:
Work is performed primarily in an office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk and hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, crawl, reach, and stretch. The employee is occasionally required to move around the office. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. May occasionally be required to lift up to 20 lbs.
