Job Description
This position performs administrative and clerical duties in support of department operations. Maintains department files and records. Performs data entry duties; enters, tracks, and updates data. Answers the office telephone; assists patrons with park rentals; maintains records of park rental receipts; types weekly rental list. Enters payroll and personnel data as needed. Manage division enrollment by way of online system. Processes incoming work orders. Performs other related duties as assigned. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Knowledge of the principles and practices of modern office administration. Skill in operating standard office equipment including work-related computer applications. Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of specialized training in the occupational field, in addition to basic skills typically associated with a high school education. Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years. The work is typically performed while intermittently sitting, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, or walking. The employee frequently lifts light and occasionally heavy objects and uses tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.
