Commercial Framing is a growing commercial timber framing contractor serving projects throughout Idaho and the surrounding region. We take pride in delivering quality work, building strong relationships, and living our company motto: \"Square and Plumb.\" We're looking for a motivated and organized Part-Time Office Assistant to support our day-to-day office operations while gaining exposure to the inner workings of a construction business. Position Overview This is primarily an in-office position based in our Rigby office. Hours are generally flexible and can be arranged around school schedules or other commitments, totaling approximately 15-20 hours per week . The ideal candidate is comfortable with technology, enjoys learning new things, and is excited to help with a variety of administrative projects and office tasks. What You'll Do Assist with day-to-day administrative and office tasks Help organize files, records, and business information Enter and update data in spreadsheets and business systems Assist with special projects and process improvement efforts Learn and help implement new technology tools, including AI-powered business solutions Provide general support to the operations team as needed What We're Looking For Comfortable learning and using new technology Basic to advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Positive attitude, willingness to learn and take direction Interested in AI and will to learn how we use it in our business Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Previous administrative, customer service, or office experience Why Join BLU-D?
