GED Full Job Description Position Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Director of Human Resources, the administrative assistant for Human Resources performs a variety of administrative, clerical, and technical duties in support of the District's Human Resources functions. The position requires a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, organization, initiative, and attention to detail.

District Office Confidential/Managerial Job Description:
Provide daily administrative and clerical support to the Director of Human Resources and the Human Resources department. Serve as a professional and courteous point of contact for employees, applicants, administrators, and members of the public. Respond to routine inquiries regarding employment, applications, certifications, onboarding, and District procedures. Prepare correspondence, forms, reports, and other Human Resources documents. Maintain organized and accurate electronic and paper personnel files in accordance with District procedures and applicable records-retention requirements. Handle confidential employee and personnel information with discretion and maintain appropriate confidentiality at all times. Work collaboratively with the Payroll Clerk and Business Office to ensure accurate employee information is maintained. Compose, proofread, format, and distribute correspondence and other documents. Maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments as directed. Organize meetings, prepare materials, and maintain meeting records when appropriate. Develop and maintain organized filing and record keeping systems. Perform other additional related duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources. Job Qualifications Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma, supplemented by clerical or office experience. Additional education, training, or experience in Human Resources, school district administration, payroll, personnel administration, or related field is desirable.
