Job Summary:

This position supports the main sortation, mail sortation, and audit processes as assigned. The sortation process is fluid based on the pallets received and the split between large packages and small packages/envelopes. This process is currently scheduled for an evening to early morning operation. This job is a 5 day per week job. The sortation operation is conducted 7-days per week. Work on the weekend may be required.

Pay Range:

$18.36 - $21.38 per hour This position qualifies for the Loyalty Incentive Program bonus paid quarterly in the amount of $2 per hour worked not including PTO or holiday pay. In compliance with Hawaii pay transparency expectations, the posted range reflects the anticipated compensation for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for unloading packages of various sizes from air cans in a safe and efficient manner.\nSort packages based on alpha-numeric codes and/or zip codes. Placing them in a bin or by pallets for scanning.\nPull packages that are missorted to wrong destination or damaged and place in designated area.\nMaintain a clean and safe work environment.\nImmediately report any unsafe working conditions to supervisor and/or manager.\nFollow scanning process and accurately scan packages to the pallet/shuttle/bag.\nFollow proper procedure for building stable pallets and shuttles for transport.\nUtilize pallet jacks to move and stage all pallets for auditing and transport to post office.\nWork as a team moving loaded and empty ULDs between dolly transport to static racks safely and in all weather conditions.\nAttend daily pre-sort and post-sort meetings.

Able to multi-task and work effectively under a minimum level of supervision in a fast-paced environment, strong problem-solving skills.\nContribute to a safe working environment.\nAbility to follow company policies and procedures.\nAbility to stand/walk for designated work hours.\nAbility to lift up to 50lbs.\nDemonstrate a consistent capability of working cooperatively with others in a team environment.\nPositive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.\nAvailable to work evenings and weekends.\nAvailable to work extended hours as needed.\nMust pass drug screening and background checks, which include employer, customer, and/or SIDA background checks\nMust be friendly and helpful with a professional disposition.\nBe able to take direction from leads, warehouse supervisor, and managers.

Physical Requirements:

The work requires routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing less than fifty pounds. Moving items over fifty pounds will be done using team lift.
