We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Mail Clerk to join our Springfield office. In this role, you will play an essential part in supporting our legal teams by managing incoming and outgoing mail, processing important documents, and helping maintain the efficient flow of information throughout the organization. What You'll Do As a Mail Clerk, you will help ensure important client and case-related documents are received, processed, and distributed accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, faxes, and deliveries to the appropriate departments and team members. Prepare and process outgoing mail, including certified mail, overnight shipments, and other correspondence. Scan, upload, and electronically file documents within the firm's case management systems. Review documents for accuracy and completeness prior to processing. Organize and maintain physical and electronic records in accordance with company procedures. Prioritize and process time-sensitive and high-priority documents. Assist with document retrieval and file requests from internal departments. Support administrative projects and general office operations as needed. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information with professionalism and discretion. What We're Looking For We're seeking individuals who are organized, reliable, and take pride in accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor. High level of reliability, accountability, and integrity. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in mail processing, administrative support, office operations, records management, or clerical work.
