•28 depending on experience About the Position We are seeking a professional, organized, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist and Office Assistant to support daily operations in a busy construction office. This entry-level role is ideal for a computer-proficient, detail-oriented candidate who can manage front desk duties, maintain accurate records, learn company software, and assist with routine administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is comfortable answering phones, greeting visitors, maintaining files, learning company software, and supporting routine administrative work, including assistance for the accounting department.
Key Responsibilities Front desk support:
Answer and direct incoming calls, greet visitors, customers, vendors, and employees, and serve as a professional first point of contact for the office.
Administrative assistance:
Perform clerical duties, assist with correspondence, enter information accurately, and support daily office operations, must be able to pivot between tasks to help meet deadlines.
Accounting department support:
Assist the accounting department with administrative tasks related to payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Document management:
Maintain paper and electronic filing systems; scan, copy, print, distribute, and organize documents as needed.
Computer and software tasks:
Use company software, computer systems, email, Microsoft Office, and other office programs.
Office support:
Assist with paperwork, supplies, routine administrative needs, and local errands or deliveries.
Team support:
Support office and construction team members, follow direction, and assist with additional tasks as operational needs arise. Qualifications Entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply. Strong computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new software quickly. Excellent organizational, filing, and recordkeeping skills. Professional phone and written communication skills. Dependable, punctual, responsible, and detail-oriented. Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy office environment. Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and coworkers while determining priorities and communicating deadlines effectively. Positive, flexible, team-oriented, and willing to assist as needed. Ability to work independently and follow direction. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local errands.
