Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to support daily front office operations for a construction company in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a positive first impression, keeping administrative tasks organized, and helping a busy office run smoothly. The role offers the chance to contribute to both visitor-facing and behind-the-scenes office support in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities:
Welcome guests, clients, and vendors while ensuring the front desk remains courteous, attentive, and efficient throughout the day.
Handle incoming calls through a multi-line phone system and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members in a timely manner.
Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, courier items, and package deliveries while keeping distributions organized.
Maintain neat reception, conference, and shared office spaces to support an orderly and well-maintained workplace.
Assist with appointment scheduling, calendar updates, and meeting space arrangements for office staff.
Complete administrative support tasks such as data entry, document filing, scanning, and record maintenance with accuracy.
Provide general clerical assistance to office personnel and project teams as priorities shift during the day.
Monitor office supply levels, place replenishment orders, and track inventory to avoid shortages. Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support position.
Ability to manage inbound calls effectively, including experience working with a multi-line phone system.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Solid organizational abilities with close attention to detail and accuracy in clerical work.
Capacity to balance multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced office setting.
Detail-oriented presentation, dependable attendance, and readiness to start immediately.
Previous exposure to construction, contractor, property management, or a related industry is preferred.
