Job Description

Overnight Front Desk Receptionist Full-Time, Turnberry Ocean Club Scope of Position The Overnight Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for a professional, yet personal and efficient arrival and departure for all residents and resident guests of the property. He/she will process all information to residents, as well as guest inquiries in person or via telephone. In addition, the Front Desk Agent is expected to complete daily checklists and demonstrate professional courtesy and regulate admittance into the condominium. This person must ensure that Turnberry Ocean Club's operational policies and procedures are always adhered to. Their attention to detail and commitment to thorough and mutual communication is pivotal to the success of daily operations. Position Requirements Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment. Two (2) year experience in a luxury hotel, resort, private club, or condominium Front Desk position. Outstanding resident service skills. Able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment. Effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying and responding to the concerns and issues raised by residents and members. Hospitality experience preferred. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel. Safety Oriented First Aid and CPR certification, a plus. Outstanding customer service skills, presents him/herself professionally with having a sophisticated communication ability. Handle a multitude of tasks in a fast-paced environment. Must demonstrate a professional, efficient manner with the ability to work and interact with a variety of people. Must be able to remain calm under stressful situations. Must possess minimum typing skills of 30 w.p.m. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in the English language both verbally and written. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays. Uniform will be provided and is required for the position. Responsibilities Greet residents and guests in a friendly and efficient manner. Anticipate their needs, show resourcefulness in fulfilling their unspoken desires. Ensure individualized guest service through acknowledging and responding to needs and expectation. Promote spa services to residents and guests. Demonstrates respect, sensitivity, and concern for resident and guest needs in a professional and pleasant manner. Schedule services for residents and ensure prompt response to their calls, emails, or requests mentioned in person. Asking proper questions when receiving a reservation request. Following through to completion with every service request. Answer questions about available services, general property information, and amenities. Answer telephone calls and email inquiries promptly and professionally and channel them appropriately. Report and document and observed or known safety hazards, conditions, or unsafe practices and procedures to management immediately. Inform management of last-minute changes and resolve scheduling issues. Present and punctual for the agreed upon schedule and works any hours that are committed to Turnberry Ocean Club as discussed with supervisor. Record resident preferences and needs by entering information into computer. Have a thorough working knowledge of Turnberry Ocean Club's services, hours of operation, facility, etc. Report malfunctioning equipment or facility issues to supervisor. Perform other job-related duties as directed. Education High school diploma or GED or degree in Hospitality related major. Skills and Abilities Able to communicate in the English language. Multilingual is a plus. Able to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and able to perform multiple tasks. Experience using software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and access control systems Genuine interest in making a positive impact in the lives of our residents. Look for ways to surprise and delight them. Create special memories through the delivery of warm-hearted service and interest towards each family. Ability to memorize the names and faces of the unit owners and renters. Willingness to learn and enforce rules and regulations set by the Association. Must be dependable and able to adjust to schedule changes, including cancellations and additions. Physical Requirements Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be physically fit in order to lift, pull and push items up to 50 pounds. Also requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift. Think clearly in high stress and intense situations. Ability to multi task and give direction under pressure. Stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time.
