We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to run our front desk during our busiest hours. You will be the person families see when they walk in and the voice they hear when they call. Kids arriving for class, parents asking about schedules, new families walking in for the first time. Your job is to make all of it feel easy and welcoming. This is a people job. Schedule:
Monday through
Friday:
3:00 PM to 7:00
PM Saturday:
8:30 AM to 12:00 PM About 24 hours per week Occasional extra hours for belt testing, camps, and academy events What you will do Greet every student and parent who walks through the door, and learn their names Answer the phone, return messages, and reply to parent questions by text and email Check students in for class and help new families find their way on a first visit Keep student accounts, waivers, and contact information accurate and current Take payments at the desk and pass anything more complicated to the office Keep the lobby and front desk clean, organized, and ready for families Notice maintenance issues early and let management know Help at the desk during belt tests, camps, and special events Who we are looking for You genuinely enjoy talking to people and can make a stranger feel comfortable within minutes You are patient with nervous kids, chatty parents, and the same question asked five times You are organized, so nothing gets lost and nothing gets forgotten You show up on time, every scheduled shift You are comfortable with a computer, a phone, and basic scheduling software Experience at a front desk, in childcare, or in any customer facing role is a plus, but we will train the right person Professional presentation: Our families expect a clean, professional environment. We ask staff to maintain a natural hair color, cover tattoos while working, and keep piercings to standard ear piercings.
Pay:
$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 40.0 per week Application Question(s): This position requires the following set schedule: Monday through Friday 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Saturday 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Occasional additional hours are required for testing, camps, and academy events. Are you available to work this full schedule every week?
