August 24, 2026Essential ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist students, parents, staff, and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.

Answer and direct incoming telephone calls, emails, and other communications.

Monitor visitor access procedures and maintain visitor sign-in and security protocols.

Provide general information regarding school policies, procedures, and events.

Maintain student attendance records, process tardy arrivals and early dismissals, and communicate attendance information as needed.

Assist with student registration and enrollment documentation.

Maintain accurate student records while ensuring confidentiality in accordance with applicable laws and district policies.

Receive, sort, and distribute mail, deliveries, and interoffice communications.

Prepare correspondence, reports, forms, and other documents using standard office software.

Operate office equipment including copiers, scanners, multi-line telephone systems, and computers.

Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference room use as assigned.

Maintain office supplies.

Support administrators, counselors, nurses, and faculty with clerical tasks and special projects.

Assist with school events, emergency communications, and other administrative duties as assigned.

Assist with arrival, lunch and recess duties as assigned.

Qualifications include: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or additional administrative training preferred.

Previous clerical, receptionist, or administrative experience, preferably in a school or public service setting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and student information systems such as PowerSchool.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a school team.

COMPENSATION
