We're looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Shampoo Technician/Receptionist/Salon Assistant to join our team. Our owner, Michael, has been cutting hair since 1976 and is a third generation stylist/barber. We believe strongly in passing along knowledge, creating a positive salon environment, and providing every client with an exceptional experience. Responsibilities Welcome each client warmly and manage the front desk with professionalism and enthusiasm Perform professional shampooing, scalp treatments, and assist with hair care services Maintain salon sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, keeping up with laundry and work areas regularly Answer phones with a smile Assist with retail sales by recommending hair care products, upselling services, and managing inventory Schedule appointments efficiently while managing client communication to ensure a seamless experience Support store management with daily operations including retail math calculations and assisting in mentoring new team members Learn and grow within the salon environment Provide excellent customer service throughout the client's visit We're Looking for Someone Who Is Friendly, outgoing, and personable Reliable and professional Comfortable interacting with clients Eager to learn and grow in the beauty industry A team player with a positive attitude Detail-oriented and able to stay organized in a busy salon Cosmetology students, recent graduates, and experienced assistants are welcome to apply We believe a salon should be more than a place people come to get their hair done.
