The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, friendly, trustworthy, dependable, people oriented and able to thrive in a multi-tasking environment. We are seeking an afternoon Part Time individual for Front Desk Assistant and Clinical Assistant training opportunity.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Administrative

• Greet patients
• Answer phone calls
• Schedule patients
• Assemble and file patient documents and files
• Collect payments
• Complete bank deposits
• Perform data entry
• Direct patient flow
• Open and close the office
• Maintain office cleanliness and upkeep Billing
• Collect patient data
• Verify health insurance data
• Obtain and track insurance preauthorization's and medical referrals
• Input daily codes into the software system
• Coordinate with outsourced billing agent regarding patient health insurance Clinical Assistant Receive education towards licensure as a Chiropractic Assistant (CA) Perform Passive Therapeutics with Patients under direct supervision of provider Explain and teach rehabilitative exercises to patients Assist provider with patient care as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of basic medical terminology Knowledge and experience dealing with health insurance verification and authorization submission is required Proficient computer skills Ability to provide exceptional customer service Individuals with CA licensure preferred About Tuckahoe Chiropractic The mission of Tuckahoe Chiropractic is to provide the members of our community with high quality, affordable health care in a comfortable and caring environment.
