The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our salon. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for the beauty industry, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet clients warmly as they enter the salon and provide them with information about services offered. Manage appointment scheduling and confirm bookings to optimize the salon's schedule. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling procedures. Assist with upselling salon products and services to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Maintain an organized reception area, ensuring it is clean and stocked with necessary supplies. Communicate effectively with stylists and other staff members to coordinate client needs and preferences. Conduct product demos when necessary to educate clients about available products. Support retail operations by utilizing retail math skills to assist in inventory management and stock replenishment. Assist stylists with shampooing, laundry, and cleanup to help their day run smoothly. Skills Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a retail or salon environment. Strong upselling abilities to promote products and services effectively. Familiarity with cash handling procedures to ensure accurate financial transactions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude in a busy salon setting. Shampooing experience would be nice but, not required.
