Join our dynamic and passionate team at a PreK-High School Culinary Arts program in Carle Place, NY! We're looking for a friendly, organized Receptionist/Admin Assistant to be the welcoming face of our school and keep our daily operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist students, parents, staff, and visitors in a warm and professional manner Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and general inquiries Manage front desk operations including sign-in/sign-out procedures and visitor management Provide administrative support to school leadership and faculty as needed Maintain and organize student records, files, and office documentation Coordinate scheduling, appointments, and school communications Assist with data entry, correspondence, and general clerical duties

Requirements:

Prior experience in a receptionist, administrative, or school office role preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced school environment Comfortable working with children and families of all ages, PreK through High School High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree a plus Reliable, punctual, and a true team player
