Overview Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Receptionist and become the welcoming face of our compassionate animal care facility! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners and visitors, ensuring smooth communication and efficient administrative support. Duties Greet clients warmly and manage front desk operations with enthusiasm and professionalism Schedule appointments, follow-up visits, and coordinate client communications using veterinary software systems Maintain organized records of client information, medical histories, laboratory results, and treatment plans Facilitate client education on pet care, surgery preparations, medication instructions, and post-treatment care Requirements Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients Ability to handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques across various species including dogs and equines when needed Experience with animal catheterization, laboratory testing procedures, or equine handling is a plus Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital setting is highly preferred Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, aseptic technique, and laboratory procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and veterinary software for record keeping and communication Join us to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners!
