Job Description

Job Duties - Receptionist/Office Assistant Provide clerical, customer service, and administrative support for personal injury law firm. The person selected for this position will be assigned a variety of tasks including but not limited to those listed below: Provide excellent customer service to inquiries in person and over the phone. Preserve client confidentiality. Take accurate information and transmit messages. Process and distribute mail and faxes. Maintain inventory and ordering of office supplies. Opening/setting up new files and entry of client information into system. Ordering police reports. Closing and archiving of files. Coordinate several overlapping responsibilities. Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills Any candidate who possesses the desired skills, knowledge and ability to perform the duties described will be considered. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience with MS Outlook, Excel and Word. General office experience performing a variety of duties which involve independent judgment. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to be flexible and adapt comfortably to changes. Team player who is cooperative; encourages collaboration; and can solve problems with peers. Ability to organize work priorities. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Understands the importance of integrity, trust and confidentiality in the legal process and accountability in the workplace.
