Advanced Medical Imaging Consultants is looking for a part time Imaging/Radiology Coordinator. An Imaging Coordinator assists our Radiologist with their daily work flow, patient care, and quality control. Pay starts at $17/hour. A shift differential of $2 is paid for any shift starting after 3pm Monday-Friday, any overnight shift, and any weekend shift. AMIC encompasses the vision and skills needed to transform how radiologists provide exceptional service to hospitals, medical clinics, imaging centers, referring physicians and patients. Work closely with radiologists to facilitate workflow and daily needs in addition to supporting their interactions with customers
Coordinate all radiology image and report management functions including but not limited to digital data (RIS/PACS) in a dynamic fast paced multi-hospital environment
Serve as professional liaison to radiologists and their clients
Contact referring providers and connect them to radiologists as needed
Serve as telephone triage & liaison for inbound/outbound calls and transfer to appropriate service/individuals
Perform quality control of exams ensuring they are ready for radiologist interpretation
Monitor worklists and filters to ensure appropriateness and timeliness of reads
Facilitate addendums to reports and ensure reports are corrected
Maintain a continual high level of customer service both internally and externally
Perform other duties as assigned Job Requirements
Healthcare and customer service experience preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills; advanced problem-solving skills
Professional phone skills and experience
General computer skills and knowledgeable in basic computer terminology
Medical terminology preferred
Ability to multitask and troubleshoot
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Ability to sit 6-8 hours per day entering data on PC
