Full Job Description Job Summary:
The automotive title clerk is responsible for processing titles and updating titles in the database.
Pay Range:
$18.00 - $22.00
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Title Clerk Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude towards all customers and employees. Ordering titles through various states. Responsible for processing titles. Responsible for updating the database on all title issues. Obtain missing title information. Prepare and issue reports as required. Answer incoming call and direct to the appropriate Assist customers with prompt and courteous attention. Perform any other task assigned. Office Administration Maintain the conference room, workroom, and shared office areas. Monitor and order office and break room supplies. Receive and distribute incoming mail and deliveries. Process outgoing mail and maintain postage levels. Submit work orders and coordinate office and equipment repairs. Schedule and oversee onsite vendors, including copier, printer, and phone service providers. Answer the main office phone and monitor voicemail. Assists with answering phone calls and customers at the counter when necessary. Support additional accounting and finance functions as needed.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Prior title-processing experience Knowledge of Indiana BMV requirements, lien releases, title corrections, and out-of-state transactions. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. At least two years' related experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Primarily office-based with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
