Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Tree Climber and become a vital part of maintaining healthy, beautiful, and safe urban and rural landscapes. In this energetic role, you will utilize your climbing skills, arborist knowledge, and safety expertise to perform tree care operations that enhance the environment and ensure public safety. Whether working on residential properties, commercial sites, or public parks, you'll be at the forefront of tree maintenance, removal, and pruning projects that make a lasting impact. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your outdoor work skills while contributing to community beautification. Duties Safely ascend trees using climbing gear and rigging techniques to perform pruning, trimming, or removal tasks. Operate bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment to access trees and surrounding areas efficiently. Use arborist rigging techniques for precise tree dismantling or branch removal, ensuring safety for team members and property. Conduct tree removals with attention to detail, including stump grinding and debris cleanup. Apply horticultural knowledge to plant pruning care, ensuring healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Follow strict safety protocols during all operations to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with industry standards. Skills Proven experience in outdoor work environments with a focus on tree care or landscaping. Strong knowledge of arborist rigging techniques, tree trimming, and tree removal procedures. Ability to operate bucket trucks safely and efficiently for elevated work tasks. Skilled in using chainsaws, pruning tools, and other equipment necessary for tree maintenance. Knowledge of safety protocols related to climbing, rigging, bucket operation, and general outdoor work safety standards. Growing experience in horticulture or dendrology (the study of trees) enhances your ability to assess tree health effectively. Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
