In this role, you'll assist with a range of farm tasks - from milking, calving, and feeding stock, to effluent management, spraying, and fencing. You'll play an important part in the day-to-day operations and work closely with your team to help meet production and animal welfare goals. You'll receive full training and support, with opportunities to take initiative, develop your skills, and mentor newer team members. Ideally, you'll also have: Experience in a similar dairy farming role (or a strong interest in developing one) Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team A proactive attitude with initiative and commitment to animal welfare and health & safety The ability to coach and support junior or new staff where required A current NZ restricted or full driver's licence About Us Pāmu Landcorp Farming Limited is a State-Owned Enterprise with over 110 farms across New Zealand. The farm is approximately 460 ha effective and 120 ha bush with rolling terrain and sandy soils. There is Halter technology on farm, helping make day-to-day stock management more efficient.
