Job Summary As an Ag Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of large and small Ag equipment both onsite and at customer locations. You'll perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and complex repairs on diesel, gas, electric, and hydraulic components. Reporting to the Service Manager, your work will be critical in supporting operational uptime and safety. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and preventative maintenance on Ag equipment. Troubleshoot and repair gas and diesel engines. Conduct hydraulic, electrical, and AC system diagnostics and repairs. Read and interpret wiring schematics; perform electrical and wiring repairs. Utilize welding and fabrication skills for repair and reinforcement tasks. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and service performed. Travel to customer sites as needed for field repairs (some travel required). Operate and test all types of Ag equipment safely. Qualifications
  • Required:
  • Familiarity with diesel, gas, electric engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Valid driver's license. Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment. Must own and use personal tools. Strong commitment to safety procedures. High level of attention to detail.
  • Preferred:
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Ag equipment maintenance and repair.
Experience with preventative maintenance schedules and implementation. Forklift Certification (or willingness to obtain). Welding and fabrication experience. Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics. Work Environment Indoor shop work and outdoor field service work required. Team-oriented, supportive work culture. Fast-paced environment with cross-department collaboration. Additional Information Overtime available. Occasional weekend work as needed. Growth opportunities within a high-performing service department. The typical work week will be M-F 7:30 A.M to 5:00 P.M.
