Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the Golf Course Irrigation Specialist is responsible for the operation, maintenance, repair, and monitoring of the golf course irrigation system. This position ensures efficient water management and proper irrigation coverage to maintain healthy turf conditions throughout the golf course, event center grounds, open space areas, Frisbee golf course, and other designated City properties. The Irrigation Specialist performs irrigation diagnostics, repairs, preventative maintenance, and assists with golf course maintenance operations as needed.
Qualifications/Education Requirements:
1. High school diploma or GED equivalent. 2. Two (2) years of experience in irrigation maintenance, golf course maintenance, landscape irrigation, parks maintenance, or a related field. 3. A combination of education and experience sufficient to provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. 4. Must be 18 years of age or older. 5. Valid Colorado Driver's License. 6.
