The Position:
We are looking for a Full-time Plant Health Care Technician. Qualified applicants must meet the following requirements: Must have Delaware Pesticide License or receive pesticide license within 6 months of hire. Valid Driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to lift to 50 pounds. Ability to enter information into a customer management system (CMS). Knowledge of plant health care, horticulture, agriculture, or related field.
Preferred:
Hands-on experience in the landscaping or horticulture industry.
Required Education:
High School Diploma.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for properly mixing and applying chemicals while maintaining accurate chemical records and licensing. Treat specific insect, weed, turf disease, and nutritional deficiencies by application of the appropriate product. Maintain power spray equipment within safe, clean, and mechanical conditions. Use good judgment in the application of chemicals (weather conditions, public exposure, and environmental considerations). Abide by all safety procedures. Be able to read and interpret product labels. Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
