We take pride in quality workmanship, dependable service, and treating our customers and employees like family. We are currently looking for an experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. Job Description The Irrigation Technician will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial irrigation systems. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, mechanically inclined, and able to work independently while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot irrigation system problems Repair and replace irrigation valves, solenoids, sprinkler heads, nozzles, pipes, fittings, and other components Locate and repair leaks and damaged irrigation lines Troubleshoot electrical issues involving irrigation timers, valves, wiring, and sensors Program and adjust irrigation controllers Adjust sprinkler heads, spray patterns, coverage, and watering schedules Perform routine irrigation system inspections and maintenance Test irrigation zones and ensure systems are operating properly Communicate professionally with customers regarding irrigation issues and recommended repairs Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and tools Follow company safety procedures Complete service calls efficiently and professionally Perform other irrigation-related duties as needed Requirements Previous irrigation experience is required Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial irrigation systems Ability to troubleshoot irrigation systems and identify problems Experience with irrigation controllers, valves, solenoids, sprinkler heads, and wiring Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather Must have reliable transportation to and from work Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently English speaking required Spanish speaking is a plus Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Background check required Must be able to lift equipment and materials and perform physical labor as required Preferred Qualifications Experience with Rain Bird, Hunter, Toro, or similar irrigation systems Experience troubleshooting irrigation electrical systems Experience using valve locators or wire-tracing equipment Previous experience performing irrigation maintenance routes Knowledge of Florida irrigation practices Irrigation-related certifications or licenses are a plus Compensation Pay will be discussed during the interview and will be based on experience and qualifications.
