Job Description
Irrigation Technician Piper's Landing Yacht & Country Club Palm City, FL Full-Time | Hourly / Non-Exempt Piper's Landing Yacht & Country Club is seeking a dependable, hands-on Irrigation Technician to join our Community Maintenance team. This position is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems throughout our community grounds to help ensure proper coverage and maintain the health and appearance of our turf, shrubs, flowers, and landscaped areas. Key Responsibilities Maintain all aspects of the Club's irrigation system. Perform routine wet checks to ensure proper irrigation coverage. Repair sprinkler heads, irrigation heads, pipes, and related components as needed. Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on irrigation equipment. Operate and maintain a multizone irrigation system. Assist with locating water services to homes as needed. Assist with potable water service repairs. Assist with drainage repairs. Maintain records related to irrigation systems and equipment. Maintain an appropriate inventory of irrigation parts and supplies. Help control expenses associated with irrigation equipment and activities. Follow Club, state, and federal safety procedures and regulations. Maintain regular communication with the Assistant Community Maintenance Supervisor. Complete additional projects and duties as assigned by management. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of prior landscape or golf course irrigation experience. Working knowledge of irrigation systems, sprinkler heads, piping, and related equipment. Ability to troubleshoot and perform irrigation repairs and preventive maintenance. Ability to work outdoors and perform hands-on maintenance duties. Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Commitment to workplace safety and exceptional service. Schedule Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. An occasional Saturday may be required when a project runs over or additional work is needed. Why Join Piper's Landing?
