Harvested corn will be placed or tossed into containers, bags, trailers, or conveyors. Workers will sort and grade corn in the field based on size, maturity, and quality; trim husks as needed; pack corn into boxes, crates, or bulk containers; and remove damaged or diseased ears. Primary duties also include loading and unloading harvested corn, stacking or arranging packed containers, securing loads when required and transporting produce short distances within the field or to field packing areas.
