Job Description

SUMMARY:

Responsible for the safe transport of cattle and the general care of cattle.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Must be capable of regular and predictable attendance Able to work overtime and weekends as needed Able to work holidays as needed General care of feed lot cattle Bedding, feeding, cleaning, sorting Load and transport cattle in a safe manner General maintenance of buildings and grounds Record keeping of livestock Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

: Valid driver's license Valid CDL and a clean driving record to be insurable under company guidelines Maintain certification and follow all TQA Guidelines General Maintenance of grounds, facilities, and equipment Alleyways, pens, and chutes Able to operate various farm equipment such as skid steers and tractors Mowing and weeding Work well with livestock customers and plant personnel Humane Handling of Livestock

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of feed lot experience and managing a cattle farm Effective communication skills Strong attention to detail is crucial for ensuring accurate reporting and time management Ability to keep business matters confidential We are looking for a proactive individual who can independently manage projects from conception to completion.
