The Cultivation Technician is responsible for maintain the health and vitality of cannabis plants during the Flowering and Harvest stages. This hands-on role supports optimal plant development through the monitoring of plant health, implementation of canopy management techniques and the execution of harvest procedures in alignment with company protocols and compliance standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Plant Health Maintenance:
Monitor cannabis plants during the flowering stage to support optimal bud development, plant vitality, and overall crop quality.
Canopy Management:
Perform defoliation, pruning, trellising, and staking techniques to optimize light penetration, airflow, and bud quality throughout the flowering cycle.
Harvest Execution:
Assist with the timely and efficient harvesting of mature plants while following standard operating procedures (SOPs) to preserve product quality and consistency.
OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITES
Identify and report signs of plant stress, nutrient deficiencies, pests, or diseases to the Cultivation Lead or Integrated Pest Management (IPM) team Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of flowering rooms, tools, and equipment to prevent contamination risk Follow all company policies and ensure compliance with local and state cannabis cultivation regulations Collaborate with team members and adhere to all safety, sanitation, and operational procedures Support IPM activities as needed in accordance with facility SOPs
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must be 21 years of age or older and be able to pass a background check Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Registered Agent Card Comfortable working in environments with high humidity, strong plant odors, and fluctuating temperatures Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and to follow sanitation and safety standards

Strong attention to detail and high levels of patience Ability to troubleshoot Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate successfully across departments and roles within both cultivation and operations
