Starting at $47,000 per year (higher compensation available based on experience)\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWe are seeking a dependable, hardworking General Farm Hand to join our corn and soybean farming operation. This is a full-time position with opportunities for increased compensation based on mechanical ability and experience operating agricultural equipment.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nResponsibilities\r\n\r\n\r\n\tOperate farm equipment used in corn and soybean production\r\n\tAssist with planting, spraying, harvesting, and other seasonal field operations\r\n\tPerform routine maintenance and repairs on farm machinery and equipment\r\n\tTroubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise\r\n\tAssist with general farm maintenance and upkeep\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nQualifications\r\n\r\n\r\n\tExperience in corn and soybean farming preferred\r\n\tExperience operating agricultural machinery is preferred\r\n\tMechanical experience, including diagnosing and repairing farm equipment, is strongly preferred\r\n\tAbility to work extended hours during planting and harvest seasons\r\n\tStrong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail\r\n\tAbility to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nCompensation & Benefits\r\n\r\n\r\n\tStarting salary of $47,000 annually\r\n\tHigher starting salary available for candidates with mechanical experience and/or extensive experience operating corn and soybean farm equipment\r\n\tEmployer is open to offering additional benefits, which may include paid time off, health insurance assistance, housing assistance, or other benefits based on the candidate's qualifications and experience\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nIf you enjoy agriculture, take pride in maintaining equipment, and want to be part of a successful farming operation, we encourage you to submit your application by clicking apply to this position below.\r\n
