We are looking for a dependable person to help care for our farm, private lodge, and surrounding property as an independent contractor who can handle around 35-40 hours per week. This is a hands-on position that includes both indoor and outdoor work. One day you may clean the lodge before/after guests, and the next you may care for animals, cut weeds, or assist with a seasonal project. Flexibility and adaptability are key. Job Description Clean and maintain all parts of the lodge, which may include laundry, dishes, mopping, and other various tasks Feed and care for ducks and swans, including cleaning their living areas Prune and maintain lavender fields, tree fields, gardens, and landscaped areas Help with mowing, general property maintenance, and light physical labor Assist with seasonal projects and day-to-day property upkeep Operate basic lawn and farm equipment; training can be provided The Right Person Will Have A strong work ethic Dependability, punctuality, and attention to detail Reliable transportation The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and comfortably perform physical work Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors Flexibility and task management skills Weekend availability when needed Previous farm, landscaping, maintenance, or housekeeping experience is helpful but not required To Note This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not an employee position. Taxes will not be taken out of your pay. You will be responsible for reporting your income and paying your own taxes. This is an ongoing contract with an expected workload of approximately 35-40 hours per week. The contractor must have enough availability to complete the agreed-upon work.

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
