We are looking for a reliable, experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. The primary focus of this position is irrigation maintenance, startups, shutdowns, troubleshooting, and repairs . Most of our work involves maintaining existing residential and commercial irrigation systems, but we are also interested in someone with the skills and desire to take on larger irrigation projects and landscape lighting work . This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work, and wants the opportunity to grow with an established local company. Responsibilities Perform seasonal irrigation startups and system shutdowns/winterization Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems Diagnose problems with sprinkler heads, valves, controllers, wiring, and zones Repair leaks and replace valves, sprinkler heads, nozzles, wiring, and other components Program and adjust irrigation controllers Troubleshoot irrigation electrical and wiring issues Make system adjustments to improve coverage and efficiency Identify problems and recommend necessary repairs or improvements Communicate professionally with customers about work completed and recommended repairs Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Use a smartphone/tablet for scheduling, job documentation, and communication Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment
