We specialize in developing new crop technologies and addressing production challenges for a diverse clientele, including manufacturers, cooperatives, and government entities. Michigan Ag Research (An Ag Metrics Group Company) is seeking a Farm Technician/Agricultural Laborer to work at its scientific station in Albion, MI. Duties involve (but are not limited to): Field/Crop care - seeding, planting, weeding, hoeing, staking, tying, pruning, fertilizing, harvesting, installing/repairing irrigation, watering.
weeding, pruning, checking irrigation. Collecting samples of leaves, fruit, roots, soil, etc. in numbered bags. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent experience
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and humidity, while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed.
