Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Irrigation Technician, we are looking to add to add 1 or 2 new staff to our team. If you thrive in a hands-on environment and have a passion for great customer service, we want to meet with you! Currently looking to add someone who wants to learn a new skill and someone who is highly knowledgeable. For the right individual, Winter snow removal work is available. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain a variety of irrigation systems, including automated control units and sprinkler components. Conduct system troubleshooting to identify issues with irrigation equipment, electrical diagnostics, or soil-related problems. Perform excavation work using hand tools and excavators to install or repair underground piping and sprinkler lines. Manage new irrigation system installation projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely completion. Diagnose electrical faults and perform system repairs to restore optimal operation of irrigation controls. Support landscaping and landscape maintenance activities by integrating irrigation solutions that promote healthy plant growth. Provide excellent customer service by explaining system functions, maintenance needs, and troubleshooting steps clearly to clients. Skills (Some or all Skills Needed) Mechanical knowledge related to irrigation equipment, power tools, hand tools, and construction experience. Experience with automated irrigation control systems and system troubleshooting techniques. Knowledge of soil science principles relevant to irrigation management and landscape health. Ability to operate excavation equipment such as excavators safely and efficiently. Familiarity with horticulture practices, lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general construction procedures. Proficiency in electrical diagnostics related to irrigation systems for effective repairs. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
