We do everything by hand and grow a diverse mix of vegetables and flowers for farmers market and CSA. Our work is rooted in no-till farming, soil regeneration, biodynamic methods, Korean Natural Farming practices, deep compost mulch systems, and organic fertilizers. We have two hoop houses and a half-acre field in production, and we serve roughly 50 families each week through our CSA and farmers market. Internship Overview Seva Farms is accepting interns for the 2026 growing season, from August through November . This is a great opportunity for someone who wants hands-on experience on a small working farm and is excited to learn in a fun, uplifting, and hardworking environment.
Number of positions available:
2 Internship start: August 2026 Internship end: November 2026 Application deadline: July 27, 2026 Minimum length of stay: 3 weeks Internship Options We offer two internship formats: Option 1: Seasonal Internship August through November 10 hours per week Two 5-hour shifts per week
Stipend:
$1,200 total for the Fall Season (4 months) Option 2: Short-Term Intensive Internship 3 weeks 20 hours per week Four 5-hour shifts per week or 3 days totaling 20 hours

Scheduling:
Days and times are somewhat flexible. After completing two internship periods (6 weeks total), there is potential to be hired as a farm crew member at $14-$16/hour . What You'll Be Doing Interns support the daily operations of the farm and help keep everything running smoothly.
Tasks may include:
Bed preparation Transplanting Sowing seeds Weeding Mulching Harvesting Washing and packing produce Loading and unloading for market CSA distribution day support Farmers market setup, sales, and breakdown Tool handling and general farm tasks This role requires lots of energy, a strong work ethic, and the ability to do repetitive physical tasks with care and consistency. Being able to crawl around on your hands and knees is necessary. What You'll Learn Interns learn by doing. You'll gain practical experience in: Small-scale organic farming No-till production methods Biodynamic farming practices Korean Natural Farming methods Soil-building and fertility practices Pest and disease management Harvest and post-harvest handling CSA and farmers market operations Customer service in a farm sales setting You'll get a real understanding of how a small farm operates week after week through the growing season. Qualifications Farm experience is helpful, but not required. What matters most is that you are physically capable, dependable, and ready to work.

Able to lift 45 lbs Comfortable working on hands and knees for long periods Able to get down to the ground and back up easily Comfortable working in heat, rain, and changing weather Able to follow directions and communicate clearly Flexible and creative when challenges arise Reliable about scheduling and commitments Skills Desired Ideal candidates may have experience in one or more of the following: Farm work Gardening Growing up on a farm Studying agriculture Outdoor physical work Compensation and Benefits Stipend-based internship Flexible schedule Hands-on training and educational experience Potential for paid farm crew position after successful completion of internship periods
