Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Farm Hand to join our dynamic agricultural team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for supporting daily farm operations, caring for livestock, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the smooth running of farm activities. Duties Driving semis and using end Dumps Assist with livestock management, including feeding, watering, health monitoring, and general animal husbandry practices. Operate farm machinery such as tractors, forklifts, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on farm equipment and machinery using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and basic mechanical knowledge. Support planting, cultivating, harvesting, and growing crops while adhering to best practices in farming and safety standards. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting, fencing repairs, equipment setup, and material handling with attention to safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness and organization of farm facilities, storage areas, and animal enclosures to promote a safe working environment. Follow all safety standards in production processes and ensure compliance with health regulations related to animal care and farm operations. Skills Proven experience in farming or agricultural environments with a strong understanding of crop cultivation and livestock management. Supervising experience or ability to oversee team members during farm activities is preferred. Skilled in operating heavy machinery including agricultural tractors, forklifts, power tools, and other farm equipment. Knowledge of animal husbandry practices for various livestock species including equine (horses) and other farm animals. Mechanical aptitude with experience in equipment repair, maintenance, welding, and troubleshooting agricultural machinery. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while managing heavy lifting requirements. Familiarity with safety standards in outdoor work environments and farm production settings. Basic math skills for measurements, inventory management, and record keeping related to farm operations.
