Position Overview H Farms is looking for a reliable and experienced Farm Hand to join our team full-time. The primary responsibilities of this position will be driving grain trucks and operating tractors and grain carts during planting and harvest. This position will have the opportunity for significant overtime during planting and harvest seasons , along with room to grow in responsibility and pay. We are looking for someone with previous trucking experience who is comfortable operating larger trucks and working around farm equipment. Previous grain-cart and farm equipment operating experience is strongly preferred. Primary Responsibilities Drive grain trucks to haul grain from fields to elevators, bins, and other farm locations Safely operate tractors and grain carts during harvest Assist with planting and other seasonal farm operations Perform basic equipment inspections and maintenance Load, unload, and transport grain and agricultural products Assist with general farm operations and equipment as needed Maintain clean and organized equipment and work areas Follow all farm and equipment safety procedures

Qualifications Required:

Previous trucking experience Valid driver's license Reliable and dependable work ethic Ability to work extended hours during planting and harvest Ability to safely operate and work around heavy equipment Willingness to work as part of a team

Preferred:

Previous grain-cart operating experience Previous tractor or farm equipment operating experience Agricultural or farming experience Experience hauling grain or other agricultural products Compensation & Opportunity Starting pay: $18.50/hour Significant overtime opportunities during planting and harvest Full-time, year-round employment Room for pay increases and advancement based on experience, performance, and responsibilities Opportunity to operate a variety of farm trucks, tractors, grain carts, and other equipment Schedule This is a full-time position with hours varying throughout the year.
