Your diligence, attention to details, and enthusiasm for all living things will help us grow nutritious and healthy feeder crickets for the reptile, amphibian, spider, and poultry owners in our community. This position provides an opportunity to join a growing company in an emerging industry. Duties may include:

Maintain hydration and nutritional resources for stock. Perform tasks for maintaining healthy habitats for stock. Prepare, distribute and collect mediums for stock reproduction. Harvest and home newly born stock. Clean and sanitize equipment and habitats. Ability to lift 50lbs. Ability to work on your feet in a fast paced environment. Prepare habitats for new occupation. Measure and track growth and weight of stock. Prepare boxes for stock distribution and shipping Prepare insulation inserts for cold weather shipping Dishwashing Wash empty habitat bins Restock inventory items Trash, recycling and compost gathering Collect stock in bulk for packaging and distribution. Prepare new supplies & materials for use in the farm. Maintain environmental biosecurity. Requirements Ability to proficiently multitask and maintain a consistent schedule of activities. Ability to meet and maintain performance standards over time. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to hydration management schedules, feed rations, and inventory management. Basic spreadsheet and word processing competencies. Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate light machinery, appliances and power tools confidently. Strong understanding of sanitation principles combined with green initiatives promoting urban sustainability. Ability to learn and follow established processes and procedures. Capability to identify and communicate improvements to established best practices. Ability to consistently perform tasks at a high level of integrity and responsibility.
