Fat Mountain Farms is looking for a hardworking and dependable farm hand to join our team! About Us At Fat Mountain Farms, we raise pasture-raised chicken, grass-fed lamb, grass-fed beef and pasture-raised eggs with a commitment to sustainable and ethical farming practices. We take pride in providing high-quality, nutrient-dense food to families across the U.S. and are looking for someone who shares our dedication to animal welfare, hard work, and regenerative agriculture.
Responsibilities:
Daily care for livestock, ensuring they have food, water, and a clean environment Moving livestock daily to fresh pasture using electric fencing and mobile shelters Assisting with on-farm processing of poultry (training provided) Operating and maintaining farm equipment, including tractors and mowers Repairing and maintaining fencing, shelters, and farm structures General farm maintenance, such as mowing, weed control, and equipment repair Assisting with packing and shipping orders for our direct-to-consumer customers
Qualifications:
High school diploma preferred Farm experience is a plus, but not required—we will train the right person! A strong work ethic and willingness to learn Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks Experience with tractors, mowers, or other heavy machinery is a plus Passion for sustainable and regenerative farming
