Harvest & Trim Associate:

Job Description:

The Harvest Trim Associate will work with the Cultivation & Operation Managers to complete the day-to-day operation of a cannabis cultivation facilities harvest trim operations which includes custodial tasks in and around the building and the clean up of the cultivation rooms. Harvest Trim Associate is responsible for working with operations team members to organize and process the harvested plants while maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. The Harvest & Trim Associate role must participate in their job with professionalism and safety, consistently. The Harvest Trim Associate will report to the Head of Cultivation/Operations and/or Trim Lead to achieve objectives effectively. The Harvest Trim Associate responsibilities & duties are: Harvesting plants, manicuring buds, identifying cannabis contaminants, sorting, batching, and weighing product Trimming dried cannabis plants Maintain records and ensure cultivation data is appropriately and accurately logged in the company's cannabis software tracking system in compliance with Company processes and state regulations. Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of cultivation rooms (flower/veg/dry), storage rooms, and common areas. Make sure the facility is clean and meets all safety requirements Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues to management Perform waste grinder duties Responsible for slop sink cleaning - all bins, pots, trays, domes, etc., Assist in the organization and maintenance of cleaning supplies and equipment. Replenish cleaning supplies at all cleaning stations in corridors and rooms Wash all rags, cleaning materials and uniforms daily Sweep, vacuum, wax, and mop the floor Empty trash, recycling, and compost Assist in ensure deadlines and post-harvest milestones are met

Required Skills:

Ability to work independently in a highly organized manner. Ability to use standard office equipment, and particularly computer equipment and software such as word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications, and electronic mail. Must pass NJ CRC required background and drug screening. Basic reading and writing capabilities to understand and follow written instructions. Basic Mathematics required for inventory, projections, and measurements. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations is required. Active listening and effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate to a variety of audiences, are critical. Excellent time-management skills; Ability to effectively plan and prioritize Ability to maintain confidentiality, Absolute reliability, and honesty. Ability to focus for long periods of time, Attention to detail. Ability to work effectively as part of a team; Ability to communicate clearly and calmly. Scheduling Requirements:

May need to be available to work frequent Evenings and Weekends. Must be able to occasionally provide coverage for colleagues to always ensure proper staffing levels. May occasionally need to work major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Physical Requirements:

Extended time standing, walking, bending, and reaching; This position occasionally requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for up to 100 feet.
