Job Overview Join our amazing equestrian facility as a Stable Hand, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the health, safety, and well-being of our beloved horses and farm environment. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, ensuring that all livestock and farm equipment are cared for with precision and passion. This is a state-of-the-art, heated facility. NO frozen hoses, or anything else for that matter, with auto waterers inside and frost free drinking posts outside. Your hands-on expertise will help create a safe, efficient, and thriving farm operation, supporting both animal husbandry and farm maintenance activities. Duties Provide daily care for horses, including feeding, stall cleaning and turnout Assist with livestock handling tasks , moving animals safely using proper techniques Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of our amazing facility Operate some machinery such as agricultural tractors, skidsteer and spreader Maintain cleanliness of stables, barns, and surrounding areas to uphold hygiene standards and keep the place looking top-notch! Qualifications Proven experience in farm work or agricultural settings with a strong background in equine care and handling Supervising experience preferred for overseeing team members or assisting with training new staff Proficiency in operating farm machinery including tractors, forklifts, power tools, and heavy equipment with an emphasis on safety standards Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and maintenance; experience with welding is a plus Hands-on experience with animal husbandry practices and livestock handling techniques This role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about agriculture, animal care, and maintaining high standards of farm operations.
